Best & Less has a rare opportunity for an Allocator to join the Merchandise Planning Team based at our support centre in Leichhardt.

Reporting into the Merchandise Planner you will work closely with the team to allocate inventory in an effective manner.

AS AN ALLOCATOR YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• • Ensuring each store receives optimal stock levels,
  • Identifying opportunities to increase sales through changes in product allocation
  • Liaising with the planning team to launch new product with allocations based on store budgets, layout and VM quantities
  • Daily review of replenishment levels to maximise stock availability in line with sales trends
  • Stock analysis
  • Weekly reporting
  • General administrative duties required to support the team. 

ABOUT YOU:

• • Excellent attention to detail
  • An analytical mind, flair for numbers and knowledge of Excel
  • You think laterally and have a proactive approach
  • You’re great at working in a fast-paced team environment while maintaining accuracy
  • Ability to build relationships with team members and stakeholders from various departments
  • You contribute to the team in order to grow your portfolio
  • Experience in stock allocations and/or replenishment within a Retail environment is advantageous, but not a requirement.

This is a great next step role from working in Stores or an Admin position where you can utilise your excel skills.
